Emily and Dave got married on June 27th. There ceremony was at Summit Country Day. It is such a beautiful church! Their reception was at the Taft. Emily and Dave had a theme of greens running throughout the day. It was reflected in the flowers, to the programs, and into the reception.

Patti and Tom's Wedding
Patti and Tom got married on June 27th at the 5 Mile Chapel and had their reception at a Touch of Elegance. Brad has known Patti since they were teenagers since she used to board her horse at Brad's mom's farm. The 27th was really hot and humid and the a/c in the church wasn't working. One of the family members opened the windows, and it really helped cool the place down. Thanks to Patti's brother for thinking on his feet! The ceremony was lovely and the chapel is so charming. When we made our way to the reception site, we were all happy that it was nice and cool. Touch of Elegance did a great job and their staff is so friendly. The DJ was Jonah from Great Day Productions. He kept everyone dancing and didn't miss a beat.

Rachel and Adrian's Wedding
Rachel and Adrian got married on June 20th. The ceremony and reception were at the Taft. We really love working there and have been fortunate enough to photograph at the Taft several times this year. One thing that always fascinates me is how the tent can look so different for each wedding. Draperies, lighting, and flower arrangements make it a unique experience each time. Rachel's flowers were by Jones the Florist and Joel Greenberg was the band for the evening. To see more of Rachel and Adrian's pictures go to http://www.photosmith1.com/index2.php?v=v1#/proofing/. Lauren and Will's wedding
Lauren and Will got married on June 13 at Greenacres. Greenacres is one of the most beautiful locations to photograph; the landscape offers several different "looks" and the sunset seems to wash the grounds in warm tones. Lauren and Will had spent some time living in France and one of the unique elements of their ceremony was having one of their readings recited in French. Her flowers were from Sprouts and added gorgeous pink, green, and off white tones to the decor. The dinner ended with a fruit and cheese plate followed by apple sorbet. Amy and Matt
Amy and Matt got married on Saturday, May 30th at old St. Mary's. The courtyard of St. Mary's is a hidden gem in the middle of the city. Her vibrant orange flowers combined with the robin's egg blue was dynamic. Their reception was at the Art Museum, and though scheduled to be in the courtyard, was moved inside due to rain. It was every bit as gorgeous inside, though, with the bride and groom descending the grand staircase, the Miro painting, and the marble statues adding to the elegance of their day. You can see more of their pictures in the client proofing section of photosmith1.com. The password is baasverhoff.
