Photosmith is a photo studio located in Cincinnati, Ohio. We primarily serve Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, but always love to travel when the opportunity presents itself. The studio does fine art, commercial, event, portrait, and boudoir photography. The main writers of the blog are Suz and Brad. We talk about what we do, what we feel, ideas we have. Oh yes, and we post lots of pictures. Lots and lots of pictures.

Poe and Chris
Poe and Chris got married on the 24th. There were April showers throughout the day. I've heard it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day, so these two got a plentiful share of luck! Poe had beautiful blue hydrangeas for her bridesmaids' bouquets and lillies and roses in hers. The flowers were done by Affordable Wedding Creations in Covington. They looked absolutely fabulous! Poe wore a vintage silk dress that 9 other women in her family had worn. She had it altered slightly, removing the sleeves to create a contemporary feeling. The ceremony was held at St. Thomas Episcopal in Terrace Park and the reception was at Cincinnati Country Club. The Mistics played throughout the reception and they really got the crowd up and dancing. They were so engaging to watch and sounded great. Here are a few pics from Saturday. Andi and Jason
Well, we were just passing through Chicago one carefree Sunday afternoon and thought we'd swing by Andi and Jason's new house. Andi worked for Photosmith when she was in college and we photographed her wedding a few years ago. Now they have three dogs and Andi is expecting her first child. It's always fun to shoot for people that have worked here. They are open to creative artsy pictures with dramatic lighting and fun whimsical scenarios. Here are some pictures from that shoot.

The Crowley Family
These are a few pictures from a family shoot I did before Easter. The girls wore their Easter dresses for the shots. I like how expressive they are for these pictures. We did have to get out our "secret weapon" toward the end of the shoot since the little one was tired; thank goodness for bubbles! The last shot was too cute!

Mary and Mike
Mary and Mike got married on Saturday the 27th. The ceremony was held at the Cincinnati Art Museum. It was a gorgeous spring day! The trees in the art museum's courtyard were in bloom and the skies were bright blue. We went to a few fun places to make pictures, including City View Bar, the underpass, and the Suspension bridge. They were a fun bunch to work with. My associate shot the wedding of one of the groomsmen a few years ago. The reception was held at the Madison in Covington.
