Photosmith is a photo studio located in Cincinnati, Ohio. We primarily serve Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, but always love to travel when the opportunity presents itself. The studio does fine art, commercial, event, portrait, and boudoir photography. The main writers of the blog are Suz and Brad. We talk about what we do, what we feel, ideas we have. Oh yes, and we post lots of pictures. Lots and lots of pictures.

Jen and Joe
Jen and Joe got married at Moonlite Gardens on Saturday. I can remember just a few years back when I could shoot from the pavilion and make a really cool "aerial" photo of the entire ceremony set up. Now all the trees have grown full and lush and this shot is a thing of the past. The space is still really beautiful, though, and I really liked how the reception was decorated for this wedding. We went into the park and made some fun pictures with the wedding party playing ski ball and going for a ride on the carousel. The Modulators played the reception and Rmax did the video.
Here are a few pics from this wedding. To see more, go to:

Erin and Chris
Erin and Chris married on the 19th. Let me just bottom line this day: it was a great wedding. We arrived in Ryland Lakes around 2 o'clock. Rolling green hills, a beautiful lake, wonderful wonderful people. We want to move there. The ceremony was held on the dock of the Morley home, which was what Erin had always wanted and the reception was at the clubhouse. The flowers were gorgeous and the peonies that Erin wanted ended up being available. It was only 50/50 chance this time of year. Her florist, (I think she said it was Jackson Florist) made it happen and the lovely pink accented the black dresses of the bridesmaids. I also loved loved loved the bridesmaids shoes. They all had pink shoes that showed off their individual styles and added a nice pop of color. I could tell you all about how friendly everyone was and how we knew so many people from previous weddings we shot. I could tell you about how great the Mystics were at the reception. I could tell you how beautiful the railroad and the golf course and the lake and the rose gardens were. I could go on and on. Here are a few pictures from that day. Beth & Brian's Wedding
Beth and Brian were married on June 18th at the rose garden in Ault Park. The reception was the following day at the York Street Cafe. Beth and Brian are a very laid back couple. I had a lot of fun working with them. During the reception, a friend of the couple spun some records. Towards the end of the night, Brian's band took the stage and played a set. Brian is an awesome bass player! Overall it was a great night with a great couple! To see more of their images, click here! The password is mandeldriscoll.

Mary and Jason
Mary and Jason are getting married in September. I am looking forward to the cooler weather (probably) that the fall will bring. For now, the Photosmith crew is shooting weddings and engagements in this stormy, humid, but sometimes just exactly right summer. Last Saturday, Mary and Jason toughed out the sun and the heat to do a few pictures at Eden Park and the stairs of the Cincinnati Art Museum. Here are a few pictures from last Saturday and here's to hoping Mary and Jason's wedding day is just right in every way.

Tracy and Jim
Tracy and Jim (or Jimbo, as he was called throughout the day) were married on Saturday. Their ceremony was held at St. Aloysius. Their reception was at the Meadows. We also shot at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, and at the Marriott at RiverCenter. The bridesmaids wore tan polka dotted dresses and the groomsmen wore black classic Adidas shoes with their tuxes. They were a really fun couple to work with, and were complete troopers when shooting outside in the heat and humidity. If you want to see more of Tracy and Jim's images click here! Michele and Mark
Michele and Mark married on Saturday. The ceremony and reception were at the Taft. The Taft is a great place for photos and the event tent is always a classy display of lighting and floral arrangements. The food is top notch, too. Michele and Mark's wedding party had red floral accents and the bridesmaids wore red dresses. The band that played was Johnny Clueless, whom we also had the pleasure of working with a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few pictures from the day. To see more, go to
