Photosmith is a photo studio located in Cincinnati, Ohio. We primarily serve Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, but always love to travel when the opportunity presents itself. The studio does fine art, commercial, event, portrait, and boudoir photography. The main writers of the blog are Suz and Brad. We talk about what we do, what we feel, ideas we have. Oh yes, and we post lots of pictures. Lots and lots of pictures.

Mini Sessions
Photosmith is offering mini sessions on November 19 and 20th. Each session is a 30 minute studio session. We will post the images in an online gallery for you to share with your friends and family. From this gallery, you will choose one image you would like to have printed as an 8x10 and one image you would like to have printed for either 30 holiday cards or 30 wallets. Each session is $100. Call now to set up an appointment. 513-651-3105. The holidays are just around the corner and you can be one step ahead! This is a great time to get pictures of your family or just the kids if you prefer. We also photograph pets! This could also be a good time to update your standard 8x10 headshot if you are an actor. (In this case, we can substitute something else for the holiday cards.) Maybe you have parents who haven't had a professional portrait of themselves in a long time. I know this would be the case for my parents if I weren't a photographer. Our family had a professional photo taken when I was two and not again until I was 23 and set it up myself. Kind of funny, but true! Photos always make great gifts because they are personal and meaningful.

Megan and Tony Engagement Pictures by Photosmith, Cincinnati Photographer
Meet Megan and Tony. They are getting married in May next year. I had an awesome time getting to know these two during their session in Spring Grove Cemetery and I'm really excited about photographing their wedding! During the session, we found out we had a lot in common. For example, Megan and I are from the west side of Cincinnati, and she went to high school with my sister. Tony and I have a great love for cheesey-potatoes. He claims Megan's mom makes the best, I'm not so sure about that. He has never tried my mom's cheesey-potatoes. Maybe I'll have to bring some to the wedding for Tony to try! haha.
Anyway, Megan and Tony, I had a blast working with you. Megan, you are going to be a beautiful bride. I can't wait until May!

Parker by Photosmith, Cincinnati Portrait Photograher
These photos are from a shoot Brad did at the the farm of Parker's family. Parker looks so happy to be "driving" the tractor. Brad has been photographing Parker since he was a baby, and each year it is fun to see how he has grown. Each year we think he can't possibly get any cuter, but somehow, he does. Just look at that grin!

Lindsay and Blake's wedding by Cincinnati Wedding Photographer, Photosmith
Lindsay and Blake celebrated Sweetest Day by getting married. I asked them if they had chosen the date for that reason, and they said it was coincidental. Nonetheless, the day was filled with an abundance of love and laughter both between the two of them, and amongst their friends and family. They were truly a fun bunch to work with. Lindsay was all smiles all day long. At first I thought there wasn't a single picture of her, even candid, that she wasn't smiling. Then I remembered, there were one or two during the signing of the Ketubah when there was an emotional moment as she read a prayer. This couple seemed to be so in love and it was easy to smile and laugh with them. Also, they had a super cute cake topper! I love cute cake toppers!
We started the day at the Westin and headed over to the Taft and Fountain Square for pictures before the ceremony at Plum Street Temple. Late, back at the Taft, the festivities continued with Air Waves taking care of the music. Here are a few pictures from Saturday. To see more, go to

Megan and John's Wedding by Photosmith, Cincinnati Wedding Photographer
Megan's dress was gorgeous, and she looked gorgeous in it!
I loved this! One of the flower girls was still a bit too young to make it down the aisle, so she was pushed in a decorated pram.
St. Rose church is so beautiful.
This is one of my favorite pictures to shoot. I call it the "Soprano's Pose."
See? Gorgeous!
I asked Megan to show me some sass for this picture. That girl knows how to work it!
Megan and John's first dance was to "La Vie En Rose," one of my all time favorites.
Megan and John were married at the historic St. Rose Church on October 16th. Their reception was at the Embassy Suites Rivercenter. We also took pictures at their homes and International Friendship Park. The reception hall at Embassy suites looked amazing. A lot of work was put into the room for their fall-inspired reception. Megan and John, you guys had such a beautiful ceremony. I had a great time capturing your day.
