Mary and Jason

Mary and Jason are getting married in September. I am looking forward to the cooler weather (probably) that the fall will bring. For now, the Photosmith crew is shooting weddings and engagements in this stormy, humid, but sometimes just exactly right summer. Last Saturday, Mary and Jason toughed out the sun and the heat to do a few pictures at Eden Park and the stairs of the Cincinnati Art Museum. Here are a few pictures from last Saturday and here's to hoping Mary and Jason's wedding day is just right in every way.

Tracy and Jim

Tracy and Jim (or Jimbo, as he was called throughout the day) were married on Saturday. Their ceremony was held at St. Aloysius. Their reception was at the Meadows. We also shot at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, and at the Marriott at RiverCenter. The bridesmaids wore tan polka dotted dresses and the groomsmen wore black classic Adidas shoes with their tuxes. They were a really fun couple to work with, and were complete troopers when shooting outside in the heat and humidity. If you want to see more of Tracy and Jim's images click here! Michele and Mark

Michele and Mark married on Saturday. The ceremony and reception were at the Taft. The Taft is a great place for photos and the event tent is always a classy display of lighting and floral arrangements. The food is top notch, too. Michele and Mark's wedding party had red floral accents and the bridesmaids wore red dresses. The band that played was Johnny Clueless, whom we also had the pleasure of working with a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few pictures from the day. To see more, go to

Catherine and Jerod

Catherine and Jerod married at St. Rose on Saturday. According to the priest, St. Rose made Cincinnati Magazine's "100 Things in Cincinnati to do before you die" list. It is a beautiful church, but I suspect it made the list because of the what is on the back of the church: a record of how high the river has been over the years. The highest mark is from the flood of 1937, if I remember correctly. Luckily, we weren't flooded out on Saturday, even though the morning was a downpour. The reception followed at Camargo Country Club in the outdoor event area with Soul Pocket rocking the party. Here are a few pictures from the wedding. To see more, go to

Jessica and Alf

Jessica and Alf married on Saturday the 5th. Jessica and her bridesmaids arrived at Ault Park before the rain. We were able to do a few pictures outside, but once we felt one or two raindrops, almost no time passed before there was a downpour. They had huge umbrellas and waited under the trellis until the rain let up. Her bridesmaids, in a successful effort to keep Jessica's spirits up, began singing- in perfect unison, with all the words exactly right- "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey. It was classic. Everyone was singing and laughing and not letting the rain get them down. We did eventually have to head indoors to the Marriott, but got some fun pictures there as well. The ceremony was at St. Mary's in Hyde Park and the reception at the Madison in Covington. Johnny Clueless (one of my faves) played at the reception. Here are a few pictures from the wedding.
