Cynda and Mike

Cynda and Mike are to be married on May 29th, 2010. Their ceremony will be at Crossroads church and the reception will be at the Madison in Covington. Cynda and Mike's engagement pictures were taken at the house of Mike's father and they decided to include their adorable dog into the shoot.

Erica and Brian

Erica and Brian married on September 6.  Their ceremony was held at St. Vincent de Paul Church and their reception occurred at the Wiedemann Hill Mansion in Newport, Kentucky.  Her sister, Emily, designed the bridesmaids dresses.  Erica's dress had a blue-grey sash that was accented by her red rose bouquet.  Though it looked as if it might rain, the weather held out for us and the sunset was spectacular.  We were also in a prime location for viewing the WEBN fireworks.  To see more of Erica and Brian's pictures go to:  http://www.photosmith1.com/index2.php?v=v1#/proofing/.  The password is espelmiller.

Katie and Adam

Katie and Adam were married on September 5.  Their ceremony was at Mother of God Church in Covington, Kentucky, and their reception took place at the Metropolitan Club.  We also took pictures at Ft. Mitchell Country Club.  Katie's orchid and rose bouquet was made by a family friend and added to her elegant look.  The silver-grey bridesmaids' dresses were complemented by dark pink flowers, and this color scheme was carried out in the centerpieces and programs.  They had a live band which kept the party going throughout the night.  To see more of their pictures, go to http://www.photosmith1.com/index2.php?v=v1#/proofing/.  The password is tapkemcneely.  

Lindsay and Jason

 On Saturday, Suz photographed Lindsay and Jason's wedding.  Their event was at the French House.  It was a lovely day with lots of sunshine and colorful flowers.  The ceremony was gorgeous, and the music was classy with a guitar player and a cellist.  They played a few songs including one by The Swell Season (which as it happens, is one of Suz's faves.)  Their centerpieces were vases of fruit and each guest was given a take-away bag to fill with fruit when they left.  It was a great idea!  They had a delicious assortment of mini desserts displayed on a cake stand,  and the party continued with Fred from DJ Butlers leading the music.  They were a fun couple to work with, and we wish them all the best.  To see more pictures from their wedding go to:  http://www.photosmith1.com/index2.php?v=v1#/proofing/    The password is shottstobler.

Stacy and Joe

Stacy and Joe met me on Thursday for their engagement photo session.  We met at Ault Park.  With it's full and rich and colorful gardens, we were able to make some lovely photos.  Stacy and Joe are getting married in October at Christ the King and their reception will be at Kenwood Country Club.   

Amy and Dan

Amy and Dan met me at Ault Park last Thursday for their engagement photo session.  This was an action packed day for Ault Park.  There appeared to be two rehearsals, two birthday parties, a pregnancy photo shoot, and the usual dog and cat walkers.  At 7:00, we had beautiful light and at this time of year all the gardens are in full bloom.  Amy and Dan are getting married in October at the Cincinnati Country Club.  

Ann and Paul

Ann and Paul married on August 29th at Kumler Chapel.  We used the formal gardens of Miami University for photos and the couple made sure to kiss under the arch, which legend has it, brings good luck to the newly married couple.  The reception was at Receptions in Fairfield.  The cake topper was funny, and I've never seen one like it -  and I've seen a lot of toppers.  It was right up there with Gonzo and Camilla, Mulder and Scully, and Han and Princess Leia.
