Allie and Brock

Allie and Brock married on July 25, 2009.  There reception was at Nathanial Green Lodge.  Though it started out rainy, the skies cleared after the ceremony and we were able to go to Mt. Airy for  a few pics.  The day was a little gray, but they brought their own color.  Each bridesmaid had a different color dress, and the flowers were a sunshine yellow.  Allie's style was vintage and classy, and I liked her use of buttons for jewelry, centerpiece accents, cake and bouquet decor.

Cheryl and Jeff's Wedding

Cheryl and Jeff were married on July 25 in their gorgeous home in Mariemont. The event was scheduled to be outside. But due to the rain earlier in the day, Cheryl and Jeff decided to go to "plan b", and moved everything indoors. The day was very intimate with a total of 20 guests in attendance. Cumin catered a delicious spread that everyone enjoyed.

Annie and Nate's Wedding

Annie and Nate got married on July 18th at the Erlanger Baptist Church. We took pictures before the ceremony at the George Rogers Clark park in Covington. Annie had on her grandmother's ring and handkerchief around her flowers. The reception was at the Madison in the Grand Ballroom. We were fortunate that the rain the weatherman had been predicting all day held off until we were leaving the reception!

Sarah and Jason

Sarah and Jason got married on July 17th at St. Mary's in Dayton.  Soft shades of yellow accented the decor and a lovebird design was carried throughout in the programs, the place cards and table numbers.  They went to the Dayton Art Institute for photos and the reception was held at the Schuster Center.

Jennifer and Craig

Jennifer and Craig are getting married in October at the Krippendorf Lodge.  They chose to do a family-style engagement session.  We had fun with the kids by using spooky lighting and the "funhouse mirror" sculpture at Theodore Berry International Friendship Park.  I don't really know what this sculpture is called, but I should find out.  It's a great sculpture that reflects the different gardens of the park, and it doesn't hurt that it's fun to play around in.

Christen and Jeffrey

Christen and Jeffrey got married on July 18th at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Ft. Thomas.  We went to Eden Park and Fountain Square after the ceremony and were able to make some fun pictures at these locations.  One unique element of this wedding was that the women wore Chucks.  Each bridesmaid had a different color.  The reception was held at Embassy Suites River Center.  To see more of their photos, go to http://www.photosmith1.com/index2.php?v=v1#/proofing/.  The password is millsmulvihill.

Lynn and Bob

Lynn and Bob are getting married in November at St. Susanna.  Bob works with one of my friends, Rick Jurus, at Sinclair Community College in Dayton.  I shot Lynn and Bob's engagement portrait at Eden Park.  The clouds in the sky were a concern that rain was on the way, but the weather held out.  Eden Park offers so much variety for photos.  The bridge, the overlook, and the flower garden are just a few places we used that day.  We look forward to their wedding this fall.

Sarah and Michael

We went to the Serpentine Wall to do Sarah and Michael's engagement photos.  They brought with them a tandem bike and wardrobe props which made this shoot particularly fun and personal!  I really love the different looks that this area provides for shooting:  the texture of the brick wall, the curvilinear lines of the wall and the river.  Even the Ohio river looked a little bluer that day!
