Michelle, Gary and Laina came to the studio yesterday for a holiday family portrait. Laina was adorably playful in all the different hats we put on her. Here are just a few pictures from that session.

Sara and Tony by Photosmith, Cincinnati wedding and portrait photographer

Sara and Tony didn't let a little snow keep them from having a good time during their engagement session. Brad met up with them at the Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park. Here are a few pictures from their session. I love the contrast of the monochromatic snow pictures with the vibrance of the colors inside the Krohn!

I gave the picture on the bridge a blue tone/cross processed look for some snappiness.

Katy and Brett's engagement session by Photosmith, Cincinnati Photographer

For Katy and Brett's engagement session, Brad went to Ohio State University in Columbus. He made some fun pictures in the greenhouses and the gardens. Here are just a few.

Katy and Brett braved the winter chill to make some fun pics in the garden areas.

I like the warm sunlight in the above picture.

Warning: Extreme Cuteness

Holiday Party

We are putting the art in p-art-y. Join us, won't you?

We've got some great artists selling their art. We've got wine. We've got good tidings.

Happy Holidays! Hope to see you tomorrow at the Photosmith studio at 39 East Court Street from 6-9.

There is a rumor going around that we may put up our party "photo booth." Or so I've heard...

Mini Sessions

A few pics from our mini sessions on Saturday.

Helen and Bruce

One of the loveliest places to get married has to be the vineyards of Gainey in Santa Inez. It's now wonder that Helen and Bruce chose this beautiful location. Mountains, yellow-green grape vines, billowy clouds in the soft pinkish orange sky--the setting was perfect. Helen looked gorgeous in both her western style wedding dress and her traditional Korean hanbok. We had a great time and hope that we will make it back to California soon!

Mini Sessions

Photosmith is offering mini sessions on November 19 and 20th. Each session is a 30 minute studio session. We will post the images in an online gallery for you to share with your friends and family. From this gallery, you will choose one image you would like to have printed as an 8x10 and one image you would like to have printed for either 30 holiday cards or 30 wallets. Each session is $100. Call now to set up an appointment. 513-651-3105. The holidays are just around the corner and you can be one step ahead! This is a great time to get pictures of your family or just the kids if you prefer. We also photograph pets! This could also be a good time to update your standard 8x10 headshot if you are an actor. (In this case, we can substitute something else for the holiday cards.) Maybe you have parents who haven't had a professional portrait of themselves in a long time. I know this would be the case for my parents if I weren't a photographer. Our family had a professional photo taken when I was two and not again until I was 23 and set it up myself. Kind of funny, but true! Photos always make great gifts because they are personal and meaningful.

Megan and Tony Engagement Pictures by Photosmith, Cincinnati Photographer

Meet Megan and Tony. They are getting married in May next year. I had an awesome time getting to know these two during their session in Spring Grove Cemetery and I'm really excited about photographing their wedding! During the session, we found out we had a lot in common. For example, Megan and I are from the west side of Cincinnati, and she went to high school with my sister. Tony and I have a great love for cheesey-potatoes. He claims Megan's mom makes the best, I'm not so sure about that. He has never tried my mom's cheesey-potatoes. Maybe I'll have to bring some to the wedding for Tony to try! haha.
Anyway, Megan and Tony, I had a blast working with you. Megan, you are going to be a beautiful bride. I can't wait until May!

Parker by Photosmith, Cincinnati Portrait Photograher

These photos are from a shoot Brad did at the the farm of Parker's family. Parker looks so happy to be "driving" the tractor. Brad has been photographing Parker since he was a baby, and each year it is fun to see how he has grown. Each year we think he can't possibly get any cuter, but somehow, he does. Just look at that grin!
